How do we know what the original Biblical texts actually said if they no longer exist??

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been having some honest dialogues with a number of my black brothers in Christ about these things. In a recent thread on Facebook, one of my closest friends Olatunde Howard shared some comments with myself and our mutual friend Rev.
